TED Conference (General Session) Proposal Login (November 3-6, 2010)
Complete the fields below to log in to the TED Conference Proposal submission system.
User accounts from 2009 will not work for the 2010 Conference, so you must create
a new one the first time you log in. Once you create an account and log in for the
first time, you must complete the form with the contact information in order to
continue. Other links you may need are at the top right-hand side of each subsequent
page in the online proposal section. Please use the same account to submit all proposals.
There is a two hour session limit per login for inactivity. You will be logged out
without warning when that session expires. Inactivity is defined when there is an
extended time where the server recieves no feedback from the user such as when typing
a significant amount of text over a long period. When the session timesout, all
unsubmitted form data is lost, and you will need to log back in to the system.
Since there are several form fields that require a significant amount of text, you
may want to consider typing your information in notepad or MS Word and copying that
into the fields.
If you are unsure about the status of your proposal after either, inserting a new
proposal or updating a previously submitted proposal, select the "View Proposals"
link on the lefthand side of the page. If your proposal is listed, then it is in
the system. You may select the link to your proposal to see if the data you submitted
was accurately recorded. You should receive an email confirmation shortly after
submitting a new proposal. The email will be sent to the email address you specified
when you created your user account.
There are separate links to submit general session proposals and kaleidoscope proposals. Both use the same login system. Make sure you are not submitting a proposal in the wrong area.
