PechaKucha or Pecha Kucha (Japanese: ペチャクチャ, loosely translated as “chit-chat”) is a presentation method in which 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each (six minutes and 40 seconds in total). These slides rely heavily on pictorial representations to convey content.
You can propose a single petcha kucha and then be included in group with similar (topic) petcha kutchas or you may propose a group of petcha kutchas (no more than 7), where you have self-grouped topical themed talks.

The official opening session of the TED 2013 Conference will take place on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 with the Hot Pink Opening Session & Welcome Reception. Wear the color hot pink* as a part of your attire to the welcome reception and prepare to be ri-joo-vuh-ney-TED. *Hot pink is the official color of the city of Fort Lauderdale and the official color of TED 2013.
